Release Date – October 1st
Pankhearst is pleased to announce that the October release in our yearlong Singles Club will be Frontier by Miriam Vaswani.
Miriam Vaswani writes fiction, non-fiction and journalism. Originally from Atlantic Canada, she has traveled extensively and lived in Scotland, Russia and Germany. She now lives in Tunisia, where she can be found swimming a bit too far into the sea most early mornings.
In Scottish museums, in Middle Eastern cafés, on crowded Russian trains, in her lovers’ beds, watching the city from the top of a tower block, Jill is a solitary figure. Like her twin brother, she moves from uncertain beginnings as the child of troubled, debt-ridden parents, to become a successful woman who makes the globe her home. Her social and professional competence are as much a constant as her memories of early grief and attachment to vanished people.
Postcards from a life. Small, well-traveled, and perfectly formed.
