A Writer’s November Diary – Day Fifteen

Dear Diary

The election and all the shenanigans thereafter put a nasty spoke in this writing thing, as did a few small personal crises. But. I now have a draft query, an outline, a synopsis, a chapter-by-chapter plan, and the first ten thousand words of a novel.  So that’s something, isn’t it?

Anyone who would like to read those words–all of them– and tell me what they think, please just let me know. I’d love to hear if Prudence works for you. Also, much to my chagrin, I’m still trying to decide how old she should be–seventeen, or twenty-two?
